A California native who grew up in Fremont, Tanya is deeply rooted in the East Bay community. Since graduating from UC Davis, she has lived in Danville, Livermore, and Pleasanton before settling in San Ramon 23 years ago. This lifelong connection to the region gives her unparalleled insight into the area's evolution and communities. She actively volunteers and supports local schools and government. Her husband of 27 years serves as a Fire Captain for Contra Costa County, and together they raised two children in the San Ramon Valley.

Tanya is an early riser and Orange Theory Fitness member, often found at the gym between 5:00-7:00 AM. In her spare time, she enjoys her book club, golfing, wine tasting with friends, and traveling.
